Factory basics
How to Start 2 Player Raid Tycoon
Claim one side of a factory, build the free starter production and collect its cash. Use that money to unlock automatic production before you commit to a long raid.
Your first factory, step by step
- Join the STRAY FRAME game and claim the left or right side of an available factory. A friend can work on the other side; coordinate which side each of you claims.
- Build the free starter purchase on your side. The September 18 gameplay starts with manual clicking to generate the first cash.
- Visit your cash collection point. Production and spendable cash are different stages: if a purchase is unavailable, check the collector before assuming production has stopped.
- Buy the next affordable production purchase: droppers, conveyors and upgraders are the advertised income systems. The gameplay moves from manual work to automatic production.
- Claim daily rewards and unlocked play-time gifts. The video uses these to fund additional purchases; a locked gift is not ready just because the menu is visible.
- Add perimeter protection and work toward the next floor. Check available buttons on your own side before crossing to your partner's area.
What should you buy first?
Our suggested order is working production, affordable income upgrades, basic protection, then a weapon and your next expansion. This is a practical starting plan, not a measured fastest-build route.
A factory that earns while you move is more useful than repeatedly stopping to click for every purchase. But if another player is already attacking, interrupt the income plan to defend. Your server situation matters more than a fixed shopping list.
| Your situation | Next action | Check before moving on |
|---|---|---|
| Only manual production | Fund an automatic production purchase | Cash continues to accumulate without repeated manual input |
| Not enough spendable cash | Visit the collector and check ready gifts | Your balance changes before you attempt another purchase |
| Enemies entering your factory | Build available perimeter protection and equip a weapon | You can respond without leaving the entrance unobserved |
| Ground floor developed | Find the stairs and next-floor purchases | You are buying on your claimed side |
Playing with a friend or starting alone
The official game is built around two players sharing a factory. The September 18 creator begins alone on one side and is later joined by a neighbor. That supports starting your own side without claiming that every upgrade can be completed solo.
Agree who watches the factory before either of you leaves. One player can keep checking production and entrances while the other scouts. Swap when the home player needs to collect an objective or join an event.
Examples from the September 18 tutorial
These values come from the creator's automatic Indonesian captions, not a current in-game price check. Later in the same video, the player reports enabling auto-collection so cash no longer needs repeated manual visits. The source does not establish its current cost, unlock requirement or whether payment is involved; inspect the offer in your own server.
| Purchase | Creator-reported cost | How to use this example |
|---|---|---|
| Power supply | 5,000 cash | A recorded early defense expense; compare the current purchase prompt |
| Following stairs purchase | 4,000 cash | A recorded next-floor step, not a universal price for every staircase |
| Shotgun | 2,000 cash | A recorded equipment purchase; current cost may differ |
When progress seems stuck
- Check collected cash, not only what is accumulating at the factory.
- Check the side you claimed: a neighboring purchase may belong to the other player.
- A gift can be visible before it is claimable. Use the countdown or requirement shown in your game.
- A new floor may expose further production purchases. Look above your current floor before assuming the factory is finished.
- Do not reset progress just because an unfamiliar rebirth button appears. The recorded video shows it locked, not a completed rebirth or a confirmed reset reward.
